FUGA Marketing Strategy Director EMEA, Karma Bertelsen, has been selected as a Leader in the 2024/25 Keychange Talent Leadership Programme.

Keychange is a pioneering international initiative working to reshape the music industry and promote gender equity. Karma joins a select group of forward-thinking professionals from across Europe, the UK, and Canada dedicated to driving positive change within the music ecosystem.

With over a decade of experience spanning live, label, and distribution sectors, Karma has led campaigns for global artists such as Björk, Ed Sheeran, Craig David, Phoebe Bridgers, and Nina Nesbitt. She has long championed diversity in the industry and has previously been recognized in the Music Week Women in Music Awards Roll of Honour and SheSaidSo’s Alternative Power List.

Reflecting on her appointment, Karma said: “Being selected for the Keychange Talent Leadership Programme is an incredible opportunity to refine my leadership skills, access training I haven’t had the opportunity to receive before, and contribute to meaningful change in the music industry. I’m excited to focus on building a fairer and greener industry while working towards a more inclusive and accessible music ecosystem for future generations.”

We’re thrilled to see Karma’s leadership and passion recognised and look forward to supporting her journey as she helps shape a more equitable future for music.
